Product Description HDMI switches expand the number of available HDMI ports on a high definition television allowing connection of cable boxes, Blu-ray players, and game consoles. A side benefit is that cable clutter is also eliminated by running a single HDMI cable to your HDTV from a switch and relocating the HDMI ports to a concealed location. The problem with most HDMI switches is that you have to either get up to push a button, or hunt for the remote control, to switch sources. The true mark of any great switching component is an ability to perform its function and remain transparent in its operation. This automatic HDMI switch is a plug-and-play away from offering everything you are looking for in an HDMI switch. Select a single output from up to three devices for signal delivery to your HDTV. Smart operation provides complete control for connect-and-forget operation. Powering on a device gives it output priority over the other devices. By powering down the device in use, output priority is returned to the last powered on device. Note: Auto switch function only works for components that do not output continuous voltage over HDMI port when turned off.

Good Deal July 29, 2010 Clif I could not get a better deal anywhere. Only problem keeping it from being a five star is sometimes it loses the audio signal and the device hooked up to it thinks its a DVI-HDMI cable which it is not. Just push the switching button a few times to reselect the device I was trying to use and it works fine. A slight glitch in the auto switching function. With all other HDMI swithers you have to use the selection button everytime so no big deal. Works great and does what I needed it for. Thanks Amason!
Make sure you get what you ordered July 10, 2010 Ryley Isetter (Neptune, NJ) The product I ordered is not what I received. It looks similar, but is not a Smart switch. You have to push a button on the unit to switch HDMI inputs, (even states that on packaging) Other than that, it works fine, no noise, great picture. It's just not what I wanted.
Signal Noise Issue July 3, 2010 Night Reader (Atlanta) Nice size at a good price, but device created signal noise on the TV screen (flickering lines), so returned it to vendor before even trying the switcher function.
Could be better July 1, 2010 Joshua Pearson Well this did not get five stars for one reason. It's not perfect. The switch does auto switch as advertised and does it quite well. Haven't had long enough to know if the switch is having problems or I have poor HDMI cables.. But I do notice a fluttering in my HDMI signal. Can be very annoying
What a rip. July 1, 2010 No Junk Please (Evansville, IN) Don't know what product these other reviewers bought, but I know the one I got doesn't switch automatically. You have to push a lil button on the side to make it switch. What a rip. Made in china, no documents, not automatic. Don't buy.
