I'm pretty sure this cord is fine and as described. I use it to connect my canon 7d to a monitor. It's the length described, but I found that for playback on my tv I want longer so I can sit on the couch. For shooting my next project I want longer too, so I'm now buying the 15 foot one. The 7D mini hdmi port has a known issue where the plug doesn't stay in that well. I taped a piece of cardboard to push the cord backwards slightly and it really alleviated the issue.

This HDMI adaptor cable is a very good buy. I bought it to connect my new Panasonic Lumix ZS7 camera to the TV and it works great...$.89 + shipping is an incredible price.

I guess seller should give Amazon better info and pair it with the proper type. Must be something in description or spec.
Other than that looks very solid. Thick, Stiff, gold coating.... just no use for it.
Make sure to look for the MICRO HDMI instead.

This comes up as an accessory for the HTC EVO but in fact is not the correct micro HDMI plug but a mini plug instead.

I was searching for "HTC Evo accessories" and this came up. Like a fool, I didn't check the description too much. This is a Mini HDMI, and the HTC Evo is a Micro HDMI. Why it came up in a search for HTC Evo Accessories I couldn't tell you, but make sure you check your device, don't rely on the search results. I'm sure I'll find a use for this cord, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Lesson learned.
