Keeps usb wires managed July 28, 2010 Shane W. Holloway (Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA) This USB hub is simply my favorite. (I have about 4 around.) First off, the usb hub is powered, making it a great hub for harddrives and iPod/iPad charging stations. Secondly, while some other hubs spread the cables out every which way, this one keeps them all aligned with the help of a few tie-wraps. For a third benefit, the built-in stick on keeps it securely attached to my laptop stand. I can plug and unplug devices with one hand because it's attached. Fourth is the price - at about $25 I can buy one (or two!) for every workstation.
Needless to say, I love it. Thanks Macally!
great hub to use July 15, 2010 Patricia Brouillette (Fort Drum, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like this hub since it is compact and also has room to plug in everything I need. It also has stick pads on the bottom so you can stick to the desk and not worry about it moving around.
Good but a little too lightweight July 10, 2010 A. J. Lewis MD (Winston-Salem, NC USA) Overall a good USB hub, but it is a little lightweight if you put cords in all the ports. This causes it it tip forward. It does have adhesive pads on the bottom, but I don't want to mar the surface of my desk with these...
best value July 3, 2010 Jonathan A. Wilson (colorado, usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this little hub is small, powered, and works great. I had so many usb devices hanging off my laptop that it would hang during boot. I added this device, and some more usb devices, and all is well. The small inconspicuous design is perfect, it has plenty of power. I dont know how long it will last, of course, but it seems perfect so far. It seems pretty sturdy, and it is small enough to carry around in my laptop bag.
It's nice when somebody designs something right... July 1, 2010 W. B. Halper (Saratoga, CA) Why I like this:
Small and light weight
Triangular shape allows cables to be easily plugged into the hub
Two sockets are separated from the others...perfect for my Flip HD camera with the built-in connector
Non-slip pads on the bottom keep it from walking all over my desk.
Decent length USB cable to plug into your computer.
Power block supplies enough power for most normal purposes. I wouldn't try to run seven hard disks, but otherwise it should suffice.
Long story short...it works.
