Product Description HDMI Cable (24AWG) and Net Jacket -25ft (Gold Plated) (NF) High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is the first industry-supported, UNCOMPRESSED audio/video interface. This cable connects to HDMI devices for DVD, satellite boxes, LCD, projectors, plasma and HDTVs. HDMI provides an interface between any HDMI-enabled audio/video source, such as a set-top box, DVD player, and A/V receiver and an audio and/or video monitor or projector. HDMI supports standard, enhanced, or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements. - Supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p.Perfect for both high-definition video and standard video formats
Made with a tough net jacket.
24-AWG able to transfer the 70-Mhz signals to accommodate high demanding resolution. (Note: Low end cables that use higher AWG may have problem transfer 70-Mhz signal that use in 1080p resolution.)What is AWG?
American Wire Gauge (AWG) is a U.S. standard set of non-ferrous wire conductor sizes. The "gauge" means the diameter. Since thicker wire carries more current because it has less electrical resistance over a given length, thicker wire is better for longer distances. There is a huge price difference between high AWG cable and low AWG cable. So, don't make a purchase unless you know the AWG.
