I purchased this adapter for my PowerBook. It does the job. Only issue is I could not get it to screw on to the back of the PowerBook. As much as I pushed the screws in it wold not hold and every so often it would come off. I bit of an inconvienence but not a big issue.

This was a fairly utilitarian piece of hardware, but it was cheap and shipped promptly, so what more can you ask?

The adapter was exactly what I needed for my monitor. I had been borrowing an adapter that was also a bit of an extension, as it was the male and female adapters attached to a cord, which was unnecessary for my monitor. This one does the job well without adding extra length to my computer cables.
