Product Description This sturdy MIDI interface cable is self-powered and connects to your computer's USB port. No need for tools or computer disassembly, it's the simplest & most convenient way to connect a keyboard or controller to a computer. Gives you the power to play songs on your keyboard or other controller, then mix and edit them on your home computer/laptop with any sequencing or recording software you have installed & play them back on the built-in synth or an any out-board synth!

Works Great With Casio-CDP100 February 8, 2010 Dan (USA) I bought this midi cable to use with my Casio CDP-100 keyboard. Works great on windows xp with Piano Marvel.
Inexpensive cable works! February 6, 2010 Lisa K. (Richmond, VA) Great price on this cable that connects our Yamaha with our old Compaq Pressario that uses XP. Our 16 year old hooked it up following the suggestions of other reviewers and it worked!
A Great Item! February 6, 2010 Phillip L. Crane (Gastonia, NC) It's a USB world and this little jewel fits right in. I use it for transferring MIDI files to musical instruments while experimenting with voicing. Couldn't be easier to use, truly plug-n-play.
Random operation and latency February 4, 2010 Wayne P. Riffle (West Palm Beach, FL) I used this with my MacBook Pro laptop. Garageband recognizes it, but the results while playing a keyboard was showing up only randomly, and with a lot of latency. So far, I haven't been able to improve this. I haven't tried this with a Windows pc yet, so I don't have an opinion on that.
