Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This sturdy MIDI interface cable is self-powered and connects to your computer's USB port. No need for tools or computer disassembly, it's the simplest & most convenient way to connect a keyboard or controller to a computer. Gives you the power to play songs on your keyboard or other controller, then mix and edit them on your home computer/laptop with any sequencing or recording software you have installed & play them back on the built-in synth or an any out-board synth!

Excellent Value August 30, 2010 Chas-u Not much to say but it works like it's supposed to. Used it to enable Garage Band keyboard sounds on a G4 laptop through a standard midi keyboard and it works like a charm.
Just what you need... August 25, 2010 JLifted Just what you need to connect your midi keyboard to you computer(usb port) in order to better control music programs such as Reason. Works with Vista and the cable is quite long ~ 4.5ft which is what i needed because of the orientation of keyboard & laptop. You cant beat this price for this specific product and thus, for these reasons, I recommend this product.
Works with TC Electronics G-major 2 August 24, 2010 CityThrasher I bought this to connect my TC Electronic G-Major 2 up to the computer to do firmware updates and use their patch editor to
upload and edit tracks to and from the G-major and I'm happy to report that this inexpensive little device performs very well for such the task. had no problems on windows 7, true plug and play.
Doesn't work for Roland V-drums August 21, 2010 roomend I suppose after spending 3k on a set of TD-12's I should have forked out 50 for the midi cable instead of 5. Go Pro I say.
Worked great, but not what I needed August 18, 2010 J. Brooks (Norfolk, VA) I bought this solely to upgrade my guitar pedal firmware for the Line 6 M9. The computer found the cable right away but my software didn't find my pedal. Ended up getting an Emu cable and the the upgrade went through instantly.
