Product Description This sturdy MIDI interface cable is self-powered and connects to your computer's USB port. No need for tools or computer disassembly, it's the simplest & most convenient way to connect a keyboard or controller to a computer. Gives you the power to play songs on your keyboard or other controller, then mix and edit them on your home computer/laptop with any sequencing or recording software you have installed & play them back on the built-in synth or an any out-board synth!

excellent March 10, 2010 L. Wilson (DOUGLASVILLE, GA, US) The product was easy to use.But I had to go online to find out why I couldn't get a connection. It was because the directions that came with the product was not clear. But we got it working and it is great. Thanks
awesome! March 8, 2010 benjamin adams (boston, ma) I purchased this midi to usb cable on a Monday and it arrived that Thursday! I was worried that this cable might not connect right or have some kind of problem, since it was so cheap. But it works fine! Don't bother going to Guitar Center to spend $40 or $50 dollars on one. I use it to hook my Alesis Micron synth up to my computer and it's perfect.
BUY IT NOW!
Wow! Better than I would have dreamed! March 5, 2010 Linda Wyeth (ARGYLE, WI, US) I purchased this for use with an inexpensive Yamaha music keyboard and an older Macbook laptop computer (pre-Intel). It installed quickly and easily and has worked seamlessly and smoothly from the minute I hooked it up. It was a gift for my husband, and he loves it and uses it almost daily.
works as well as any! March 5, 2010 BWag (Idaho) I priced MIDI cables (anywhere from 15-70 bucks!)and decided to give this little baby a whirl. It works fantastic!
And you can't beat the price! Sure, it's thinner than the one at Guitar Center for 40 bucks, but you could go through several of these before approaching 40 bucks! I'm very happy!
Seriously? This easy? March 3, 2010 John R. Tuttle 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've used a 2x2 MIDIsport from M-audio for years. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit and M-audio is dragging their feet coming up with drivers for my device. So I had to find an alternative. Suffice it to say, I paid $50 for my 2x2, and here, less than $7 for this cable, shipping included. And I cannot believe how well this works. It just works. With the midisport, I was constantly installing and upgrading drivers. This device? I plugged it in and it was instantly recognized by Windows 7, my DAW (Mixcraft) immediately recognized it, and I was off recording without notable latency in no time. In fact, the midisport had worse latency than this cable. INCREDIBLE. I give this thing 6 out of 5 stars for the best MIDI to USB bargain out there. I'm running one from my casio keyboard, and just ordered another for my yamaha electronic drum kit. Cannot recommend highly enough.
