Based on all the info out there on the net, Monster should never be able to sell a single cable. However, the name beind the cable does matter. Knowing the reputation of Monster, I felt really good about buying these cables and I know that they'll be good for years and years to come. Afterall, If you are spending $2000 for a nice set up, is the extra $30 for a trusted cable not worth it? To me, it certainly was.

THe cord works fine and my tv works great and the clarity and sound are very good.

This item was $30.99 at Amazon and $100(!!!) at "Best Buy." Monster is a great cable, but don't get ripped off by buying it from Best Buy!!!!!!!!!!

On the package it says this will carry 720p or 1080i signal. If you have a 1080p signal this won't carry full signal.

Item was in original package.(brand new) is working good so far picture looks clear and auido is good. no complaints will buy more as I upgrade my system.
